Zacky Vengeance falou a Lehigh Valley The Morning Call sobre dar o próximo passo com “Hail To The King”, a pressão de fazer “Nightmare” depois de perder Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan, tocar para as tropas no Iraque e no Kuwait e muito mais.
Vengeance diz que com “Hail to the King” o Avenged Sevenfold tomou uma decisão consciente para retornar ao heavy metal básico.
“Com ‘Hail To The King’, o que realmente focamos foi em olhar para todas as bandas que nos fizeram amar heavy metal e todas as razões dentro dessas músicas que gostamos de heavy metal e hard rock” diz. “Muitas dessas músicas são tão pesadas e tão poderosas, ainda assim mantém elementos muito mais simplistas que nós realmente tentamos incorporar.”
“Você sabe, nós todos ficamos empolgados e começamos aumentando a bateria e acrescentando toneladas de harmonias vocais.
